What’s Up With Dug the Dog?
In a new short on the Up DVD (out Nov 1oth), the lovable Dug embarks on a series of quests at the behest of his mean canine bosses. “It’s like a Wile E. Coyote cartoon,” says director Ronnie del Carmen (Up’s story supervisor) of Dug’s Special Mission, which is set before Dug meets Russell and Carl. “Whatever the bad guys are trying, it always backfires. Dug’s pure heart will always win out.” Have we mentioned he’s a good tracker? Squirrel!
