I just wanted to share some pictures and a few observations from my recent trip to Disney’s D23 convention from a Pixar perspective. Toy Story Mania for the Wii was very prominent and Disney Media Interactive had many kiosks set up so that people could give the game a try. It looks like a lot of fun (and I should have review up very soon). There was a cool display of the Up house, Thinkway’s U Control Buzz Lightyear and WALL-E, upcoming Toy Story toys (including 2010 Lego toys), and the very impressive living character of WALL-E was available for pictures every half or so (see the YouTube video that I took above).
In addition, there was a huge Cars Land presence in the Parks section (including a very impressive Living Lightning McQueen (think Buzz in the Astro Blasters attraction). I hope you enjoy my photo gallery.
