You must check out the wonderful 1 hour + plus Q & A with Up‘s Pete Docter and Bob Peterson. It’s available via Creative Screenwriting and their podcast series. Topics covered include backgrounds on Docter/Peterson, Pixar commercials, Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, a bit on Docter’s involvement with WALL-E, early versions of the Up script, writer/director Thomas McCarthy’s involvement and so much more. I didn’t realize that Bob Peterson was such a driving force on the story/script and it was great to hear more details on his involvement with Toy Story, Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc.
