In celebration of today’s release of Up on Blu-ray/DVD in North America, New York Magazine conducted a telephone interview with Pete Docter. Among the topics discussed are 3D, the clarity of Blu-ray and Pete’s next project. He mentions that he has just begun working on his next Pixar film and it’s not Monsters, Inc. 2. He does catch up himself regarding Monsters, Inc. 2, but it seems that project is moving forward (most likely with a new director) based on previous hints.
