It looks likes a mix of good news and bad news for Friday the 13th. Some of the rumors came true (cover art, 2 Blu-ray variations), while others did not. Two different Toy Story 3 Blu-ray versions released on November 2nd. The only difference is the inclusion of a DVD + Digital Copy. Cover art for both is above. A standard DVD (with a slew of missing features will be released as well).
Update: Here’s the extra features!

- Teaser (HD) Cars 2 early sneak peak
- Day And Night theatrical short
- Toys! Epilogue (So you can watch it separately from the film)

- A Toy’s Eye View: Creating A Whole New Land (at Hong Kong Disneyland)
- Alex Syntek Music Video

As I predicted earlier, a Cars Toon compilation with all nine Mater Tall Tales will also be released in a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack on the same date (including the never before seen Moon Mater and Mater, P.I.). The 38 minute collection will be available on a Blu-ray + DVD Combo pack or a single DVD edition. Extras include the featurette “Unmade Tall Tales” and a sneak peek of Disney’s California Adventures upcoming Cars Land.
The bad news is that we won’t be seeing a Finding Nemo Blu-ray this year. It seems this release has been mentioned (but never formally announced) for the past three years. It looks like we will be waiting a bit longer..
