Disney-Pixar has announced that both Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc. are headed back to theaters in 3D. Nemo dives back in on September 14, 2012 (hopefully a few weeks before a Blu-ray release) and Monsters, Inc. returns January 18, 2013. This should be good timing with Monsters University coming out in June.
The news doesn’t surprise me with the huge success of the recent The Lion King 3D. While I’m not huge on 3D, I wouldn’t mind seeing Pixar’s two funniest films back on the big screen.
