Teddy Newton
Recently writer Derek Connolly was speaking with Variety about his recent film, Safety Not Guaranteed. He made mention that he’s moved up to Emeryville and has been working a feature film script with Pixarian Teddy Newton (Day & Night). While not officially announced yet by Pixar, it looks promising that Teddy will get his shot at a feature film with a likely timeline for release around 2015 or 2016. I don’t know about you, but I’m a huge fan of Teddy’s and think he brings a completely unique sensibility to whatever he touches. I’m super excited about this and my fingers are crossed that the project makes it through the development process and to the big screen.
