  • A new addition to the cast (Lotso), a pink bear, was unveiled to eagle eye observers in the Pixar teaser trailer (and later in the theatrical release) of Up.
  • The story came together over a weekend cabin trip that included John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Lee Unkrich, Pete Docter, Darla K. Anderson and Jeff Pidgeon.
  • Michael Keaton has signed on to voice the role of Mattel’s Ken…it’s safe to say that we will be seeing Barbie again as well.
  • Timothy Dalton will be playing Mr. Pricklepants, a plush porcupine who has thespian tendencies.
  • John Morris will return to voice the 17 year-old Andy, who is heading off to college.
  • Other new cast additions include Ned Beatty, Whoopi Goldberg, Kristen Schaal and Jeff Garlin.
  • Blake Clark is taking over for the late Jim Varney as the voice of Slinky Dog.
